With over 20 years as a Licensed Estate Agent and Auctioneer in Australia’s real estate capital Melbourne, I came to a point where I needed to understand my own roller coaster ride of success and stress and what I can only describe as total dissatisfaction and disassociation from my life and any sort of authentic joy.

My happiness and sanity often relied on the next shiny object, a meaningless accumulation of things and recreational drug and alcohol use that would fill the empty spaces that life, loss and some interesting choices I made, had created.

I lacked meaning and purpose and I felt unaccomplished and unfulfilled no matter how much "success" I was experiencing in life and the real estate arena. I didn't feel successful and realised that I literally had no idea what success actually "looked" like or meant, to me.
